activate win xp :(

i have had xp pro for bout 1 - 2 weeks, never had to activate it, but now all of a sudden i need to and even when i say yes it logs me off. i got it off my mate and he has had no problems.
wat do i do???:(

yeah, read the rules,
but this doesn't sound like Warez, cause warez have the activation removed.


WinXP gives you 30 free trial, after which you have to active, this is done by calling up Microsoft and stating your code and then they give your activation code.

Or doing it online,

If the same version of windows has already been activated, then you can do the following:
buy another copy,
or keep on reinstalling it,

playing around with the registry will not work,
changing your date on your computer to 2010, then installing, and moving the date back will not work too,

They made the whole WinXP activation pretty hard to crack,
