Radeon 9500 PRErelease in NZ?

Hey guys I was just reading the front page over at [H]ardocp (yeah i know the stalinistic site from hell) that you guys might have the 9500 avail before the rest of the world?? :eek:


Radeon 9500 Availability?
We posted word yesterday that the ATi Radeon 9500 would be on shelves on December 8th here in the States. I just got word today that the card is available in New Zealand already, but have no way to confirm it…everything I have tracked down had no street date. If someone has a little info, please let me know.

Anyway, yes supposedly we can get them. I was talking to one of our suppliers yesterday and he said they had them in stock.
They were even so nice as to send us a bunch of ATI card boxes for our new shop, including the 9500.
Shame they didnt 'accidentaly' leave a 9700 in its box for me. ;)

They are a stalineqsue site because of their intel 3.06 "review"
Changing the graphs without any notification, and then banning anyone in their forums who said otherwise and basically flat out calling anyone who said they change it, a liar.

IMO [H] has sunk to THG level.

I hadnt heard any exact values but it should be able to compete with nVidia's Ti4200 :)
