Ok now I've been inspired ! I had thought of doing this a while back, but now I'm seriously thinking about how I can do this on a tight budget.

I figure with some wood, a nice car seat, a bit of imagination, and a whole heap of spare time I could come up with something like this, although I'll have mine set up for FPS instead of sims :p

/runs away to find a "free" CAD program :p

doesn't look to comfortable,

as for seats,

car seats are the best seats around (the racing type, not the normal ones, :rolleyes: ) .

If I had my way, I would have car seats in lounge instead of a sofa,
one day... oh yes....

Yeah that first one don't look that comfortable, but further on in that thread is another guy who's truely got a l337 setup, 2 joysticks, HUGE monitor all built around a lay-z-boy chair !!

I was thinking about using something like a Honda Prelude seat, I want something comfortable, but cheap, maybe con my girlfriends mother into sewing up some padding etc and making a chair myself.

......goddam ideas that consume my every waking moment!!


And yes that was waking WITHOUT an "n" ;)

yeah man.. car seats are the shiznit for computer chairs.. I managed to score myself a GT Subaru seat for free :eek: .. sitting on top of a base on castors.. its compfy as :D
