Has anyone tried this stuff for painting their drive bezels?
I saw some the other day in Placemakers. It's supposed to be better than just using ordinary lacquer. Doesn't require any prepping of the bezels either.

I haven't used it myself but it soaks into the plastic and stains it the desired colour, unlike paint which sits on top of the plastic. Because vynal dye soaks in it does not chip like paint. A lot of people in the [H]forum use it for drive bays.

Ah, I was thinking that was how it worked.
I'm told it gives it a more dull/matt appearance too which helps to blend it in to black cases.

linear has a few good articles on it at linear1.org... it's better on plastic than metal

Please tell me you don't have a plastic bezel.

You like the c*ck? That is probably the most stupid thing I have heard on the forums, any forums.

The majority of people have plastic bezels, not everyone buys alu-cases, price is very often the case, for cases.

Also, I love you.

I used it on my drive fronts, Matt Black is the exact colour of a Lian-Li 61 works amazing well on any textured plastic and is quite robust (doesn't scratch easily) But on any smooth Plastic it bites. Scratches like a mofo. And you can't use it on metal surfaces period. ;)
