don't know if anyone else noticed this, but:

AMD Duron 950MHz - $67.50
AMD Duron 1.3GHz - $90.00
AMD Athlon XP1600+ - $133.88
AMD Athlon XP2100+ - $234.00

wow, that's getting pretty cheap, I mean a duron 950 for less than 70$

also, the intel chips are a bit cheaper,
Intel Celeron 1GHz - $100.13
Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz - $325.13

just wondering, why are the AMD chips sooo cheap?

to clear stock... before christmas is the best time to clear old stock, then at the start of next year they can release the new and shiny's

AMD has a policy to be 20-25% cheaper at the same speed grade, dont know if they still try to hold that now
i would say they are trying to get all excess stock out of inventory and move totally onto tbred

:( I bought an XP1600+ at about $140. That extra $7 could have bought me lunch :p

btw it does 1900+ and posts at 2000+ Rams holding me back.
