Anyone know where you can get them from, They are like a frame thingy that holds a hand drill perfectley strait and you can set how far it drills down and when you pull the lever on the side it makes the drill come down and thn drill into the stuff your drilling

Good for making perfect holes - And i nede it for making my perspex water spliters - see in the 'Cooling' forum

Thanks

Its called a drill press, and damn near every hardware shop stocks them to varying degrees of quality.
You can get a cheap one from Mitre10 for about $199-$299 I think. Dont skimp on quality either. If you want one that will do a good job and is reliable, with a good warranty, spend the money.

No, it's not the big ones that have the moter built into them, its like a littke frame about 30cm high and you can clip a hand drill into it and you pull a leaver on the side and the drill comes down

I asked dome guy at PlaceMakers and he said he knew what i was talking about but they dident stock them and he dident know ehere i can get them from

Before I keep looking around for one on the web, how much are you willing to spend, or how much do you think they should cost?

I know jaycar sell one for their dremel equivalent. I haven't seen one in person so I don't know how good they are.
