Interesting that the judge it as 60cm per person

My keyboard (simple BTC one) is 46cm, which leaves a whooping 14cm for my mouse/mouse pad, before it hits the other person..

hell, I even know some people wider than 60cm!

hey im not afraid to admit that I own a copy of CS and have played it for a little while. but the differnce is when people dont play other games as well.

CS with Podbot is a great way to have a quick no hassle game with no waiting for huge bf maps to load.

In fact I saw some CS being played at L3#8

I may not agree with your opinion on CS but i'm not going to dare or threaten you because my opinion differs.

The issue with CS is the community of children with no maturity.
We won't start on the quake 1 engine, netcode, gameplay or i'll be here all night.

Basicly put i'm supprised the thread wasn't deleted was it seemed to be pissing match from the word go.

I'm all for people's differing opinions... what I'm saying is that people that spout off in forums (while typing away in the safety of anonymity) are probably going to say bugger all to a 100kg ex amateur heavy weight (which I was, a few years back now tho). I never meant to imply that I'd resort to violence in any way(read my post carefully now)... all I meant to point out is that people that bleat on about things like this, usually have no backbone.

ps I have no insecurities btw :D ... but you'd probably have to meet me to understand what I'm on about.
And threaten... I've had a sawn off shotgun held to my head, there's nothing anyone could do to that would make me feel more threatned that that... NOTHING!

If you read the the thread linked to in the first post you will see the plan was to order 2.4m tables and seat 4 people at each. You do the math ;)

if they're the standard 2.4m x 1.2m then whether you're seating on both sides or all on one side it's still a pretty bloody cramped space.

given what they're charging (if i were actually going) i'd expect a little more space than that.

Depends on the putting everyone on one side part: some hire tables are pretty narrow (i.e. 1m wide) which would cause troubles

I just skimmed through that thread again and either they were planning on having 4 people per side ( I hope those tables are mighty wide!!) or they are very thin and are planning to only use 1 side. Then again maybe they were tired when the planned the seating ;)

However he did mention 60cm wide so either way it doesn't make any difference to how long 60cm is !! :eek:
