1) search www.overclockers.com for an article
2) Ditch the MX 440 (while its a GF4 is like chopping the leg of a sprint runner. It'll get ya there, but it aint as good at doing it was before.) and get a 4200 at least (full DX8 support, best "bang for buck", and overclockable to 4600 specs)
3) Slap some heat sinks on the ram, and a better one on the GPU.
4) Go to www.guru3d.com and get some tweaking software.
5) Download the new Dets (41.03) which has a handy OC pannel in it.
Feel free to use/ignore any of the above.
PS: i just hate MX's in general :p

Go to the top of the 'Video Card' forum. Read the FAQ.
( Can't find it? here (http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/showthread.php?s=&threadid=662) )

Overclocking any video card is a relatively simple affair. Just like overclocking your CPU and RAM, you'll have a GPU and a graphics RAM setting to tweak. Try using a program like:
Rivatuner (http://www.guru3d.com/files/rivatuner/)
NVMax (http://www.majorgeeks.com/article.php?sid=387)
PowerStrip (http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm)
....to overclock that memory and GPU a little bit at a time - and gauge your performance results using a benchmarking program like:
3DMark 2000 (http://gamershq.madonion.com/download/?3dmark2000.shtml)
3DMark 2001 (http://gamershq.madonion.com/download/?3dmark2001.shtml)
Any game that supports Benchmarking, such as Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Serious Sam, etc etc.
....You can test to see if you've taken your graphics cards' memory too far with a program like the Artifact Tester found here (http://www.nvmax.com/downloads/index.html).
