There are rumors ( and interviews etc ) saying it's going to weigh in at an astounding <DREVIL>120 million Transistors!</DREVIL>

...compared to current ( or even Parhelia/R300 ) standards, that's insane. So I assume it WILL be 0.13 micron after all

Still, we have to bear in mind that this chip won't be retailing in even the same time-frame as the R300, which'll be selling for months before this card appears. ( These guys (http://www.theinquirer.net/05060205.htm) think so, anyway ;) )

...and as for the rumours of NVBlur, aka Glide II - well.....
*drools*
:p

Woah ... thats all I can say.

Doesn't that come close or even outnumber some processor transitor counts?

Hahaha. Bro - you do know that even the ORIGINAL GeForce has more transistors than the ATHLON THUNDERBIRD??

READ THE LINK I GAVE, D@MNIT. THEN YOU'D KNOW!

:p

So, it looks like in a few months we'll get the big ATi/Matrox battle. I wonder when 3DLab's big push is? Do you reckon they'll be launching at a similar time to nVIDIA?

They would be silly not to, once nividia gets momentum going on a release it becomes much harder for anyone to compete with them in that particular generation of cards and in the market in general.
