I've heard of "human spontaneous involuntary invisibility"..... it's more commonly called "being ignored because you're a boring tard" :p

heh heh heh, its happend at my work :)

the following is an ecerpt from an email received by our helpdesk, only the names have been changed to protect the inocent.....
"Hi Helpdesk

I expect there may have been a bit of a mix up in the past. Probably due to identification issues. Helpdesk has booked a number of jobs for me in the last couple of months and each time the technician has failed to turn up. Now, I am the "Joe Bloggs" on the 16th floor, in the North corner. Not the other "Joe Bloggs" (I'm not sure where he sits), but I appreciate my name (and his) is rather common in New Zealand.

The other alternative is that the problem is not about identity.... more.... visibility. If the technician happens to be invisible then you need to let me know so I can arrange to wear my "anti-invisible glasses". Otherwise I really will have difficulty seeing and responding to him or her.

Thanks again for all your help and I look forward to solving this problem"
