Hi to one and all, my name is Doogie, and I'm here to help you with any queries you may have about the board.

We understand it's strange and new and frightening, but given time you'll get to know it very well :D Most features on bulletin boards are fairly similar, but some features you'll wonder where they are and also how to do them.

If you have any queries whatsoever about this board, and how to navigate and use them, please post here, and I'll endeavour to help you as soon as possible!!!

wait until we finish more important things first, THEN we can deal with the aesthetic side of it...

geez it took the mod team 5 minutes to adjust to this colour scheme.. we really like it... the least you could do is give it a chance instead of whining like an upset interior decorator ;)

i like the new colours... does take a bit of getting used to but a black background is much more versatile for making use of the custom COLOURS!!

:D

I'll do another style, but later on, basically just an inverted version of this.

I hate white generally, white hurts the eyes, and gives you eyesore after looking at it for too long... the original style I did was a bit black, and I've softened it with the gray.

I'll do a white style, but don't bank on it for at least a month :D

Click on control panel up the top click on edit options
where it says:
Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.
set that to NO
then click on submit modifications down the bottom....

Genesis

to see where the members are from, eg on the old one, I could sort by where you are and got into contact with people living in my area.

Also, I just liked scrolling thru and looking at all the people to see where most people are from etc,

also, I still haven't found the stats button,

For all those still getting e-mails from the board this is because any thread you posted to BEFORE you turned it off is still one you are subscribed too. I.E. your subscription was added to the thread, and it doesn't automatically turn off for all previous, but only for future threads you participate in.

To unsubscribe from threads, click here (http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/member2.php?s=&action=viewsubscription) and unsubscribe from those threads you had already posted in.

Yes easy Vol, you have to wait ten days before you can change your custom title, you have enough posts already.

Hi OCNZ!

Simple question here.

Just wanted to know if you are meant to get rid of an old thread you have created.

For example a problem that you had, that you have now fixed.

Or do you leave it there for others to read if they similar problem?

In that case should I explain how I solved the problem and where I got the appropriate driver form etc.

Cheers!

KingJackal
06-05-2003, 03:12 AM
Normally we leave threads where they are so we can use the search function on the forums effectively ( always quicker to read the answer than ask it again ;) ).

If the solution wasn't posted in the thread, it would be good of you to post a quick summary of what the answer was - but you don't HAVE to :D.

I hope that answers your query :)

Sweet as, thanks for the reply.

I was just making sure, thats all.

In that case I will leave it there and write briefly what I did!

Cheers!
