Off to Finland

well the day of my departure is fast approaching, so I thought I'd say "see you in a month" now (as things are starting to get a bit hectic here).
For those that can remember me bragging in the old forums, I'm off to Finland for a month this Saturday to meet the future mother-in-law, then 2 nights in Amsterdam on the way back.
Will try and drop in when I can find a inet cafe and some time (but for 1 week I'll be in the middle of nowhere, staying in a cottage on a lake with no power... so I doubt I'll be doing bugger all posting that week).

Flying out of Auckland to Kuala Lumpur, then on to Amsterdam, then to Helsinki. On the way back it's Helsinki to Amsterdam, then to Taipei, then Auckland.

don't think i'll have any money left, but yeah... would be nice to go shopping in Taipei. Heard Kuala Lumpur has really cheap gear too. Might have to wait till next time

Amsterdam rocks.... and I went there in winter their time so summer should be even better....... one thing though...... you'll get offered "cokaine" and "ecstacy" (you have to say those with an African accent) on every street corner (well in the red light district) if you look like a tourist........ and not by little skinny skanky lookin men either..... BIG ASS BAD lookin doods :eek:..... other than the drug dealers it's sweet tas ;)

shouldn't be too much snow where I am.... Santa lives in Lapland (which is right up the top... by Norway).
Have a digital camera... so just might have to do something equally as entertaining.
Ohhh... and I do intend to try raindeer if I can. Apparently it's rather nice
