Buy and Sell post count.

Why is the post count so high for those things? It makes it difficult for any one trying to sell or buy some thing. Since you basically have to be a forum whore before you can use it.

There is no post count requirement at TradeMe. I suggest shopping there in this instance.

The point is to NOT be a whore just to get there, and the BSE is for casual trading between established members. If you are here only to get to that section then you're in the wrong place. You can make more money off of your goods on trademe as geek4life mentioned.

The way I see it is that the post count (which isnt really that high to view the bse) is a form of protection.

Who would you rather trade with, someone who is pretty active on the forums and has a good reputation or someone with 2 posts that has been a member for a day or two?

I wondered what the objection would be to posting really delicate subjects in the BSE's 'other' section when you only wanted competent reader's responses. Topics that are easy to spam, but that you don't want a spam answer to.
