Unlock Athlon multiplier article

Can anyone please direct me to an article (wif pictures) that explains how to unlock the multiplier of athlon XP. I don't want to scew up.

I want to run 166 FSB synchronous DDR 333 system.

if ya look on the cpu die, it will say 5 letters...AGOGA, AGOIA etc etc, this is ur stepping

also the numbers after it relate to the year and week of production.

AGOIA0207 or smuffin like that is week 7 of 2002 ;)

heh, its sweet until ur lap ur core so bad u can see urself in it...but not the stepping...is there actually n e other ways to get the stepping without looking on the die?

you could go and see a hypnotist to put you under.
and send you back to the day you lapped your core.
;) then all you have to do is read the die. :D

Maybe if you keep lapping for another mm or two you might find some more writing left by AMD, stop when you get to the pins, cause you would have gone to far.:D
