I am sitting beside something very similar right now... its a $13 click clack with my eheim 1048 and some barbs installed...
only real diff is the lid is coloured, but its very watertight and most of it is clear see through plastic...
I'm currently hand building a compact stealth resevoir to replace it in an inline configuration as apposed to its current submerged config... i'm using a sheet of scrap 5mm thick perspex that cost me $2

Thats a custom Job
It was either System or -DC- that got a custom res made like that, from a company in auckland, not too expensive.
Or you could make it all yourself, almost all glass retailers sell perspex up to 10mm thick (u would prolly want about 5mm)
Anyways, im doing the same as whetu, click clack is working fine over here

if you want to do it yourself here are a couple of places that sell perspex sheets:
Award Plastics Ltd : 16 Buchan St ( ph 374 5500 )
Caddilac Plastics : 24 Gasson St ( ph 353 0850 )
who knows, if you ask nicely they just might throw in some off-cuts as well ;)
