I was thinking of getting the KR7A-RAID as it was described to me as the ultimate gaming board, until I saw this one :D. Its the ultimate and its PC 2700 compatable. Dragon PC (http://www.dragonpc.co.nz) and PC Gear (http://www.pcgear.co.nz) have it in stock now! :p
Now if only I could afford to go Athlon DDR

i gota say tho the price looks a bit steep (i know its abit) but still its ment to be the 'other side of the coin' c.f to the feature rich MAX series... but oh well u get what you pay for i guess:)

OPP is a kid. That review actually detracts from Abit's long time standing 1337ness.

Hows that for 'End User' benchmarks  :D

There is no consistancy to his review. No base vs. Overclocked benchmarks, no specifications write up. Its merely him showing off his new board in an "article" not a review.
A review would have shown the KX7 pited against the Epox 8K3A, or the Asus A7V333.
Notice the end comment to AMD, hes fishing.

You catch on pretty quick. :)
I was thinking more of a demonstration of each board at stock speed using a benchmark like 3D Mark. Then a tweaked BIOS run. Then finally, an overclocked run.
The key is to be thorough, OPPs review reads like a copy and paste of the motherboard specifications, and what he was able to pull out of it.

You wouldn't happen to be biased there would you Bravo? :D
I do agree though, it is not one of the best reviews I have ever read. However nor is it one of the worst. Check out KJs worst reviews thread in Open Topic (sorry can't be bothered getting the link myself :o ).
BTW Incase it hasn't been said Welcome :)

Not really, i hold no personal malice against OPPsy (hes a nice bloke on XS.org), but the review left alot to be desired.
And thanks :)
