from the PC Company for $525 inc GST. It should arrive tomorrow hopefully. Will a Volcano 7 be good enough cooling?

Add a "+" behind the 7 is better since it's all copper

TT have a cpu compatability page:
look here (http://www.thermaltake.com/support/CoolingGuide.htm#amd).
seems to be almost totally useless tho. it only goes up to 2200+, and puts the 6cu+ above everything else, including the V7+!
there are other flaws but it does show that the max rating for the V7 is 2200+. but if the 2400's supposedly run cooler i dont see the problem. :)

Hmmm, |nferno said his nextdoor neighbour came back from Singapoore with 10 of these CPU's he sold within 1 hour of ringing a few people From England, they only cost about $100. Will I believe it?, maybe

$100!!
i'd pay double that at the drop of a hat :p
i find it rather hard to believe. if he got them for $100 in singapore, it would be cheaper to import them individually (ie order from singapore) than to buy them here. i think someones either telling fibs or has a very good inside source.
having said that, if it was true i'm not surprised that they sold within 1 hour!

I can't verify wether they are lies but he said he sold em for $200 each and made a hefty profit.
