There is always comment on the download page of guru3d.com. A lot of it is from tards - "I upgraded from 8.70 to 40.71 and got 12% more 3dmarks" - wohooo.
I have had a lot of success with 40.52, am installing 40.71 right now. 98se of course.
I'm about 6min away from having them(40.72's)..... so I'll let you know how they go soon-ish.
  corrupted!! I'll get them later

I had a corrupted download form nvidia once ages ago, but no recently. It's probably due to the load or hefty traffic they get everytime they release a new driver.
Going from the 30.82's to the 40.71's gave me over 500marks increase and going form the .71's to the .72's gave me another 100 or so. Image quality appears better too.
True bugs pop up.. it's inevitable, but a little later nvidia has new drivers... it's all good, and they are BETA drivers.
I've had no problems with any of the 30.xx or 40.xx drivers, but then I always uninstall the old drivers before installing the new.
I want you too listen Extreme.. Here is a FACT:
The 60hz refresh rate problem is actually a limitation of Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP, its is a microsoft feature that kicks in when games do not specificy the refresh rate to run in.
It is not an nvidia problem, nvidia have started to provide a way to set refresh rates to optimal but these drivers are BETA and this feature is BETA... also the drivers probably won't get microsoft WQHL certified with this feature enabled by default, I forsee you'll have to enable it like how you have to enable coolbits for overclocking...
In the mean time use newest Rivatuner to set the refresh rates

It only occurred to me last night that this was a whole new thread, about newer drivers.
Three goddamned times to get them without a 'size mismatch'

Xtreme - you should go and read up on Rivatuner on the Guru3d page. It has lots of informaiton on why drivers do different things and you will learn a lot.
Guru3d is also one of the best place to d/l drivers IMO - I've never had one corupted.

i've been getting random freezes for up to 15 minutes  since installing the 40.71's. not 100% sure its the graphics card drivers tho, going back to 30.82's now.
its the "system" process that consumes all the cpu time (note: not "system idle" :p). it managed to use 1 hour of cpu over a 4 hour period .

Dont clone then, do what I do and make it a second desktop.

Er, same.
And yes, its not fullscreen.
ENABLE OVERLAY
I have the movie on my monitor in the corner, and it automatically plays fullscreen on my little LCD screen AND on my TV...its very cool
3 bugs...
1: doesn't allow me to have 800x600 @ 100hz (limits to 85hz)
2: using their refreshratefix results in an oocasional BSOD
3: nview feature (i have 17inch and tv-out to a 29) is fantastic but occasionally I end up getting this error with the tv-out disabled.
I also had the problems with the broken download but once installed the first thing it does now when windows loads up is complains it cant find a lib from the previous driver install (despite Ive installed the drivers both way). The lib it looks for is the little icon on the tray in the corner. So pisses me off.

The 23.11's worked best with my old GF2 GTS2 Pro - gave the best performance and I didn't have any 'glitches' whatsoever.

The 12.47's were the best for GF2's but oh the bugs...
Using 40.72's and the newest Rivatuner for tweaking and the refresh rate fixing.. no problems here..
I'm just using a single monitors so I've no idea about any dually bugs.
