New post amount

Hi i've been a member not very long and have tried to help people. Like I have been myself and have only just got 68 posts to my name and thought good I can buy if I see something I like. Now today I realized I would be able to sell something also and went to put my item in the selling area and was told i needed 100 posts to do this now I'm not complaining but i thought it may have been changed and was wondering if it has always been like this.

i thought the same thing but if you search you will find many more posts covering the same thing and i believe it has been like this ever since the post count was required.
