I've got a Duron 750 thats die'ing' to be overclocked but it has a sticker over the L1 bridges.
What's best way to tackle this, some sort of solvent, scrapping ??
I'm sure this has been answered in a thread, but i can't remember.

I soften those stickers up with some meths on a rag first and then a fingernail seems to finish the job quite well. Once the sticker is off there is usually a bit of 'sticker residue' left - so make sure the area around the Bridges is completely clean.

Also I recommend using a conductive pen rather than the pencil, the conductive 'ink' provides better conductivity than the pencil and the pen is permanent, whereas with the pencil you may have to re-unlock it from time to time.

Hopefully if you have a good chip there you can cheat and just slap the FSB up to 133.. Get 1GHz out of it.
