After all that crap...I get the power light, and a light called 'extn slot' which at this stage is empty, but I dont know why it lights up.

When any of the 15 ports are plugged in, none of them light up at all.

Does anyone have any experience with these, presuming these are useable on non-HP machines.

have you tried a different power supply? i had similar issues with my dlink hubby... tried another power pack - sweet as :)

I had three to play with, they all did the same thing

And they all just use a normal power cable (pc style)

Whe I say hub, I mean these could pass almost as pc's...I mean, they have a BNC network card plugged into an ISA slot inside (removed)

These are heavy, sexy 100mbit beasts, and I dont need to cut a hole for a fan, they have fans built in!

I just want it to go...free/cheap 15 port 100mbit hubs are difficult to obtain for me...
