View Full Version : Moon Landing, Conspiricy?

This is especially for KJ, and anyone else interested.
Remember that 1969 moon landing conspiricy thread we had in the old forums. Well it 's on TV3 7:30pm prime time Wednesday night.
Should be a good watch. Then we can all laugh after the show, and see what we think.

Please, noooooo!!!!
Lol - I wonder what conclusion they'll reach :D.
Heh, so that's a prime-time program then? It's no wonder I never watch TV.... :p

heh, its just a re-run, ive seen it before, and it aint very convincing...the best thing they can come up with is multiple light sources and the flag waving around...
I watched that some time ago, afterwards I ended up getting high quality photos from Nasa to check, :D
i think that some of landings were fake, but I'm sure they were up there.

of course it was a fake!
why would anyone in their right mind want to spend millions upon millions of dollars, just to wander around on some lifeless dustball? how many moon missions have there been since the original moon landing?
they certainly were in space, but the moon landing was just a red herring - a stageshow to cover-up what they were really doing up there. the general public were sci-fi crazy at the time so they just lapped it up!

my theory is that mird is half right..
see i think they did go up there, but the actual footage was shot inside a building and relayed..
What they were actually doing was just sorta wandering around having a looksee if it was a decent place to evacuate the u s of a to incase they got to arrigant towards some other country...:D :p
lol.
I dunno, it could have been fake, but what if one of these smartass muilti trillion billionahundreds people want to go to the moon instead of just some crappy space station?
whats gonna happen then?

No the landings were real, they however did retouch phtotgraphs to make them look more impressive, like that one when the astronaut is in front of the viewfinder line. There is simply to much evidence that the landings were real for them to have faked any significant part.
The main guy they interview on that program is a nutter, he keeps going on about area 51 and how its existance and the fact that you can't go in there means that the landings must have been faked. He makes me laugh :D

read this site after watching the show
It will disprove every peice of 'evidence' they spout out their ass during the show :p

The whike wavy flag thing has been disproved for the 'conspiricy' side by pure physics ... of course the flag keeps waving in space. There was motion to put it down, so it ripples the flag. With no gravity the flag will float upwards, but enough tension to keep it level. The ripple is just the continium from the movement of the flag...
Jeez.

There definitely was some dodgy stuff going on with the moon landing. Did they give the astronauts a lesson before they left on taking photographs or something.:)

no, really, repeat after me: FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE :)

mird get over it!
the evidence saying it was real is far more convincing than the stuff saying it wasnt.
now about the loch ness monster...

Jeez.
The moon has 1/6 of gravity on earth, so the flag should fall down imediately, but slower than on earth. Plus a flag in space cant flutter indefinately, friction between all the threads must absorb any energy after a sgort while.
All fake I say, well at least the first one. I thinks they made it there at some stage.
I say it's fake, well at least the video's and pictures.
One VERY important thing:
Japan has sent a probe to take detailed photos of the moon ( I think it was this year that it left), when they are fully complete, we will either see the leftovers from american's, or nothing.
Also, howcome the Russians never attempted going to the moon, they had the money and resources back then?

Russia never went to the moon as the americans beat them to it and there was nothing really there for them after that, the moon was always seen as the final destination for a race for both sides, not really as anything else(although they did bring back a few rocks and that to keep the geologists happy)
Also the flag on the moon has a bar at the top to hold it out, the ripple in it was because the first astronaut didn't flatten it out properly and as there is no wind in space it stayed that way, but then everyone liked the ripple effect that it was kept that way. And the astronauts took LOTS of photos, only we don't get to see the ones with Armstrongs finger covering the lens or anything like that, only the good ones for the press releases.
Anyone who still thinks it is a hoax should go lookup the site http://www.badastronomy.com

The Russians never actually "had" the money. They just took it from everywhere else to make it appear like they did.

How many moon landings has there supposedly ever been?
Have there been any more plans to send a human up there since the last time?
Im guessing that unless some freaky mad science stuff happens in the next century we will probably never know exactly what happened. Hell, it was probably just a propaganda thing anyway.

America never went to the moon.. George Bush is a grey alien trying to create a world war so they can easily conquer the earth... Maggie Thetcher is a man... Bill Gates is Satan... Fluoride in toothpaste warps the minds of civilians.. Doom makes kids into psycho's and every other conspiracy/nutter theory...
THEY'RE ALL TRUE DAMNIT!!!!!

If they truly had done the moon walking, they would have gone back and had a better look around.

the lochness monster was a hoax, i clipped the newspaper article ages ago......gtg try find it....
and i think the russians sent lunar vehicles to the moon
but that was as far as they got

Why would they have gone back for a better look around??? Why send men when probes can do a better job for much cheaper?
Each moon mission cost billions upon billions of dollars... So it's not feasable to send men...
Oh wait, silly me, all that money went to Area 51 for alien research, and the moon landings were staged *slaps head*
What was I thinking.

i read the article proving that nasa did land on the moon. it was a very interesting read for anyone whos into that kind of stuff, cheers Control_Phreak :)

i really dont understand your reasoning here. why would they go back for another look around? surely they would do everything in the one trip bcos it costs so much? and as viper said if they DID need to go back, probes make much more sense.

Japan is coming up with the most powerful telescope not long from now, ull be able to see the moon' surface with tht telescope, and then we will see if the American's really landed on the moon.
:D

personally, I dont care where the moon lands. so long as they put it back where they found it when theyve finished with it.

Well I have now seen it. There was way too many un-answered questions, and way to much fake stuff for me. I don't believe NASA made it to the MOON, I wasn't sure before.
go to the nasa website and look at some of those photos,
and tell me, is it posible to take such great shots with that POS camera they used, without being able to adjust the focus? also in the cold, it was very cold and the camera wasn't meant to work, why is it that it did,
also them driving the "lunar module" look at the video at 2x, and it looks like someone having fun on earth.
well, now I'm off to NASA website to look for more pics,

read the page I posted earlier from badastronomy.com deviant.
It has good scientific answers to all the evidence that was claimed in the documentary.

I did, I think it goes some way to explaining some of the points. But I thought there were inconsistancies in his answers that didn't add up.
Nothing difinative, just all added up. Little things like the flag waving around, well after tha astronaut had finished twisting the flag pole, the flag remains still, and then flick up alot. And the ambient light is too bright to see the stars, but in a footbal stadium when the lights are on and it's as bright as daylight you can see stars, and, and and I could go on.

wasn't there more, like over 10?

I think there were 6, some of the Apollo missions only went into orbit for practice.
Mashed_Penguin

Apollo 11 was the first to land on the moon. Followed by apollo 12. Apollo 13 didn't make it to the moon. The last to go was apolo 18 i think but it might have been 17. The reason they haven't been back is that there hasn't been any real scientific or comercial reason to justify the cost of going there. That may well change in the next 20 years.

With eyes yes. With a camera no. And BTW, the moon is a HELL of a lot brighter than daylight man. You know - the whole 'less atmospheric sheilding' jazz?
and tell me, is it posible to take such great shots with that POS camera they used, without being able to adjust the focus? also in the cold, it was very cold and the camera wasn't meant to work, why is it that it did,
Yeah - that's a convincing argument. A multi-billion dollar mission to a place that's incredibly cold takes a camera that can't handle cold. Yeah - got me convinced....
also them driving the "lunar module" look at the video at 2x, and it looks like someone having fun on earth
And finally the definitive proof! Cos if you speed up moon videos, they should look all 'moony' and stuff...
*yawns*
BTW guys - I have definitive proof that I can make you a billion dollars. All you need to do is give me your credit card numbers for your first investement....
