Anyone know of a preferably free program that will allow me to send txt messages from my computer?

I know ICQ and MSN can do it but I use Trillian for my instant messenger so I'd like a stand alone program preferably something small.

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up. That'll do the job.

But does anyone know of an actual program that'll do it ?

The perfect solution would be some xml code or something to allow you to send txt's directly from your desktop....kinda like an active desktop thingy....hmmmm

I can't seem to get through to vizzavi.co.nz. Is the site still up? Might be some proxy settings down at my end.

Yes, something like Oxygen hooked to your phone or the Nokia PC suite, you oviously need a supported phone.

Sending free texts is hard as Voda/Telecom block the sites though their gateway, like ICQ used to work but not anymore etc...

Just like to point out that this is from mid 2002 if nobody else had noticed. Chances are the site in question went poof quite a while ago.

An excellent second post Mobius1, bumping a thread from 4 years ago :D
