I am doing a self install of JetStream and know abot each "phone" jack needing a filter but my question is that the modem will be attached to the last jack in the house (the end in the chain of jacks) there are 4 other jacks before the Modem and am wanting to know if this will affect the stabilty of the line (i am sure it wont affect the speed because it's only 128k)
Any ideas peps??

The 'stability of the line' wouldn't be effected unless you had a HR loop or something. Well, AFAIK anyway........

Yes, quality will be affected. There is always resistance between each phone socket, and especially if it's the last in the chain.
Best thing to do is get the filter put at the demark point and have a point especially run off that to the modem.
