Yep. Tommorow we see the Gigabyte 7VAXP (http://www.giga-byte.com/products/7vaxp.htm) at ascent (http://www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=108762) for $330.

Hope we see both nForce 2 and KT400 chipset boards here soon in a large scale.

we should hopefully see the Epox KT400 boards here soon too, I think Dove are going to start importing Epox boards now, they dropped an Epox catalogue off to me yesterday to have a look thru. the 8K9A3+ looks very interesting :D

The Asus should be good too:

Sound
2 x Firewire
6 x USB 2
Raid
1GB Network
etc

... and I forgot;

The ASUS has 2 Serial ATA ports; The Gigabyte has none.

And the gigabyte still doesn't seem to have CPU overheat protection; wheras the ASUS has the COP system.

tbreak (http://www.tbreak.com) has reviews on the Gigabyte, MSI and ASUS KT400 offerings.

They don't seem to hot.

That COP feature seems quite handy ;) , thats one of the reasons I would get an Asus and not a Gigabyte .. Asus seems to have alot more "handy" features for your $ while still being reasonably fast unlike Gigabyte.
