hmmm, that makes it awfuly tempting to prematurely upgrade, um yea.

Stop the tempting :D, although I want a socket 939, very tempted I am to get a 939 board and CPU, then upgrade in a few months to PCI-e and get a new video card as well. Must resist

DFI never release as soon as a chipset/tech is availible, eg they dont even have an nforce2 150 board.

Only boards with the ability to overclock/lock and have all the extra bios options that Oskar must program are released.

So yer, they release late but provide boards that will overclock well as its encouraged. A 939 has already been made, almost final and will be released overseas in the next 1-2 months maybe this month even.

Tarmac, take a look at the 90nm parts for 939, you'll be far more tempted by them, methinks :cool:
