i picked out straight away that bladerunner was involved just by looking at that picture
a quick trip to www.zerofanzone.co.uk confirmed my suspicions and i was led to the first installment of the article here:

Damn you, I WAS going to say sexy like a pie...I love the curvature of the waterblock, but wouldnt that impede flow a bit? Or are those bits where the mounting screws would be hidden?
And those last pics...O M G
That is very very very tidy, and its just extremely cool...I like the fact he has the larger hoses for the CPU, but doesnt need it for the others...and he has waterblocks on both the front and back of the video cards RAM...very very very very cool.

Damn, soo nice, exept only his mobo and cards are in that case, but still EVERYTHINH that makes heat is cooooold:eek:
Im surprised theres no cooling on his ram tho.

Just on my way to work so say a quick hello and glad you all like it :p
Will answer any questions you might have later, but for now here's the full PC image, it's all in the case......... well almost. (still messy as I'd just got it up and running then).

that is really really nice man, and it must be very quiet, I can't even see a fan at all, I'm gessing you will have a low voltage fan on radiator, or will that be water cooled as well lol

who needs a radiator when uve got a huge propane tank of water 8 feet underground... :D
that also has is pump in it too, so no pump noise :D
bladerunner im assuming you dont lan? or uve got a seperate setup u plug in for lans? (oh and very VERy nice work :) )
Question time BladeRunner
Pump size
Flow rate
Max head
noticed two size hose used - why ?
No Chemicals added ? looks like your running iT straight ?
so the only items not "H2O'ed" would be the floppy & ROM drive
after school, can I came over to your house & play :D
nice choice in Box by the way ;)

I thought that just to be different I'd mod my SoundBlaster Live! and have a tiny little tube with a pump connected to a tiny copper block on top of the SPU on the soundcard.
That would be a real cute touch on that monsterously wicked cooling job!

Zero fans in the entire system, more about it HERE (www.zerofanzone.co.uk), (click on the stealth cooling link to read about the origins),

Almost, but the pump, (an Eheim 1060), is not in the tank but remoted away from the PC, (outside under my mobile home), . The tank is buried 8 foot underground.
Here is how the set-up works in schematic.
http://www.zerofanzone.co.uk/pictures/gif/geothermalcooling.gif
H2gO :)
Pump size = Eheim 1060
Flow rate = Rated at 500 GPH, (imperial). In my system, no idea but adequate to supply all blocks and go through all the tubes tank etc.
It's not having to pressure pump in my set-up as I have a header tank, (see above schematic). All it has to do is circulate the coolant. (I think it will pump up 3 metres though, check eheim's site for details).
noticed two size hose used - why ?
Not sure which tubes you mean, If it's the large ones it runs like this:- Thick walled 10mm id tube into the PC to the centre input of my much loved liquidcc genI block :p. The block outlet goes to the top manifold, split to all other blocks. The flow is split to two 8mm, (6mm id), and three 6mm, (4.5mm id), The GPU block & Northbridge get the 8mm tube, all the other blocks are supplied with the 6mm tubes (as they don't require much coolant flow to due to the items being cooled are low heat producing. (ram blocks x2, HDD block & PSU block),
It's then all routed back to the bottom manifold when it goes back to a single 10mm id tube but this time thin walled. reason for thin and thick walled tube is simple, I ran out of the thick stuff :D
No Chemicals added ? looks like your running it straight ?
It's running about 25% antifreeze (glycol based), but the pigment is beginning to be sun bleached out of it, pale blue now.
Like said it's untidy at the moment and I have much more to do before it is finished including a custom PC case that will feature real Carbon Fibre in it's design, hopefully it will be a killer.
I've also got a PC power & cooling 600 watt PSU to water-cool.
HDD's need proper mounting
pump flow detector needs sorting and PSU shut of modified,
plus loads of other stuff, by then there will be another next gen 3d card to water-cool.
until then I like the basic HX08 case for my purposes

I get what you are saying, not sure it justifies the extra tubing for a block but maybe a sink on it as it does get warm with no fans.

heh, im planning on making a full carbon fibre molded cube server case for my creation aswell. Carbon Fibre is phatness. Also, Bladerunner, did anything ever happen to your R8500 wblock? How did u make a clip to attach the block to the card?
