I saw the ads on Harvey Norman, which one of those 3 is better?
Logitech Z-340 $149

Creative SW320 $129

TDK Tremor S40 $99

Logitech got 33 Watt RMS with 20watt on sub and 6.5 watt on sat and can go as low as 35Hz
Creative got 12 Watt on sub and 4.5 watt on sat and can go as low as 42Hz
TDK got 10 Watt on sub and 5 watt on sat and can go 50Hz.
I want a speaker that got good quality and not too bassy...

If your soundcard drivers have an option to turn the bass down a bit in software the Logitechs are your best bet.
Damn great sounding speakers.
Just quite bassy.
Creative and TDK both SUCK and BLOW
Which makes them excellent candidates for trumpet players, but as they are speakers, stay away....
Average - crap sound.
You could always go for a set of Klipsch 2.1's, goodness knows where you would find them in NZ though....
I'm told philips make some nice pc speakers, but i'd have to hear it before i'd believe it....
Do some research on www.3dsoundsurge.com and use the google (www.google.com) as well, to find out what would be best for YOU.
Good hunting :)

Klipsch are available from this dude:
Total Home Entertainment
Ph: 09 479 6198
I remember calling him once and he said he had the Klispsch range setup in his demo room. I never got to see them in action though :(

Klipsch are the best, but probably cost more then you're willing to spend.
So definately the logitech... Hands down. It's not even a fair fight. The creative and TDK are out of their league.
Plus .. you don't want to start Whetu or myself off on another rant about the crapness of creative (Overpriced, poor quality, no support).
One important thing to first consider... What soundcard are you using?

DO NOT GET THE 40W TREMOR. 'Jazz' speakers at $40 sound better.
But the 150W TDK are a good pair - I don't know how they compare to Klipsch, but my flatmate bought a pair of the 150W Tremor and a component CD player as a unit - it does sound fairly impressive.
They are loud, and sound isn't too bad either. You'll need to spend about $400 buying them though.
