Has anyone got the link? I forgot to grab it off Bullchicken last night...if noone posts it by the time I get it off him, then I will do it myself, and you who installed the 9 beta 1's can stop holding your breath...

Remember, the first beta ends in a few days!

Does it make a difference? Wouldn't you need a DX9 capable card of which I didn't think are out yet.

Or does it have a performance increase?

Performance to a degree...I mean, I noticed in some applications that show FPS that there are a few extra popped in here and there.

Plus its cool to be a **** with DX9

apart from the coolness factor,

DX9 will have some things fixed up which they didn't fix in the previous version, so it pays to have the latest DX. even if your card can't support it.

Ok, I decided to not leave it as "Bandwidth Stealer" because thats rude of me.

Just go to FileConnect (http://www.fileconnect.com) and go to the Story Archives for August. Some really interesting things on that site, so far I have Opera 6.05, VIA 4 in 1's 4.42, a newer RamIdleXPPro, and XP-Spy removing software, and and and and and the DirectX 9, and all sorts of others. I am on downloaders overload.
