ok I am currently thinking of upgrading my machine. I am thinking of getting a P4 1.8, but what motherboard to get?
I am Currently thinking of getting one based on the SiS 648 chipset, it has support for DDR333 as well as unofficial support for DDR400, it also allows up to 6 USB 2.0 ports and a couple of firewire ports(not that they are needed as I have no firewire devices at present) and it also supports AGP3, but this would only be important if I get a new GFX card but will give me a good upgrade option in the future. The only problem is that it is a very new chipset, and only a couple of board makers have released any so far, but haven't seen any in NZ yet, does anyone knoe when these may make it to NZ?
Also has anyone else got any thoughts on this chipset, the other option is to go with the intel845 based boards.
