yes poison pie is right the AMI Bios is from some old K6 motherboard from work, it surprised me how it was a perfect fit onto the network card. and no there aren't any missing diodes i don't think, although i never checked it out for that sort of thing, might be the flash from my camera.
Now to try it out on some old useless mobo

its got an old ami mobo instead of a boot rom.
not that that would make it not work, you could allways flsh it with the bootstrap, probably not the right kind of cmos tho

It's always fun swapping bios chips around till you find one that works. Managed to "upgrade" a mobo that way, well that is to say it worked but I wouldn't trust it.
