Welcome back all, I missed you, well some of you, ok none of you but I did miss the forum.

Had a great Lan & Leech 1 yeaturday/today. Pity the forum went down so some of you wouldn't have been able to find out what was going on.

_N_ and Control Freak remembered and came along, there was about 30 peeps there, well when I left anyway.

Got me a MSI Geforce4 Ti3200 for $343 including just for the occasion and it rocked. Good overclocker too, it does 325/600 MHz stable.

So much new has been going on I don't know where to start.

Well that was hell, I seemed to go out alot more and noticed a bright light in the sky that made my skin burn :P

Anywayz I have been resorting to other gaming forums to get my kick. I finished off my GTA3 car (altho cant get a door to work properly). Played a hell of a lot of SOF2 and MOHAA (L3 here I come), and generally became very bored with everything.

Bought 56cds yesterday and in less than a day have gone through exactly half.

Well I've been busy since the forums went down....... fixed 2 pc company rigs (BAHH!!!) and scored myself a laptop (not the best but does the job well).

Trademe was where I was since forums went down..... DAMN THOSE SUCCESS FEES!!!!!!

BTW starlyte R0><....... ordered a new abit KX7 on Friday..... made the transfer Friday afternoon (doesn't get processed until that nite or early the next day)........ Guess what's in the Saturday morning mail :D
I don't think I can wait for my GF4 to come back..... so I might just pop this bad boy in tonite Oh yeah.... now all I need is some PC2700 and a fortissimo II...... and........ (the list goes on) :D

it's great to be back, what's with OCNZ forums being related to http://forums.skankyflat.net ?

I spent most of my time working on getting that 1.7Gb HDD to work on that Cyrix 333 computer, bought heaps of stuff of trademe, and visited these other forums and learnt heaps on how to mod my car, :D

In the time the forums were down I broke up with my g/f

Quite ironic really, She became my g/f when the OCNZ forums crashed last time :/

Also got drunk last night and i cant find my cellphone :/

Heres to lots of non-crashing forum time :)

just got back b4 from a doj-e lan, googlo went too, it was damn awesome apart from there only being about 20 ppl.

i met a guy called trojan, he has a 2ghz laptop that he bought in the states, a digital camera with a 256meg stick, and a cellphone that can do colour pics, i saw pic of a beach on it. (he has all this crap cuz he made $118,000 by selling diablo2 items on ebay... jeez)

i also put in a blowhole at the lan, my first mod!

ya know that big ball of fire in the sky? nintendo should market that as a GBA peripheral :D
also, world 128meg dual vEYE-vo has some sweet as vertex and pixel shading abilities, the grass from 3dmark 2001 se has NOTHING on the grass the world-card can produce, and at stunning fps's aswell. :D

after much dispare and gnashing of teeth i'm BACK!
Things i've done while the forums were down:
1) Caught the flu :(
2) Got better :D
3) Caught another cold :(
4) Bought 40 CDs, over half gone (Movie CDs @ 341 and rising
5) Got Winamp 3
6) Finished labs for the year (12 hrs a week :D)
7) Downloaded some movies/TV eps/etc...

damn, 140Gb just isnt big enough......maybe if i save up hard enough, i can get an array just like JSR used to have :D (either that or ****loads more CDs and folders)

I was gonna get one of those l337 511's a couple a weeks back, lucky I didn't since they dropped the price :), my 3310 will last a while yet ...

edit; Have you given Vodafone a ring? they'll chuck a block on the SIM (unless you've coded it) until/if you find it .. my mate lost his 5110 ages ago, he mumbled sumthing about Vodafone having a 'phone locator' or something, might be worth a shot, its a wikid phone.

Grrrr, I tried to access this from uni all day, only able to get the stupid page you get when it is down, tried clearing the cache, but that didn't work, in the end I managed to point the browser to one of the threads, and got in

I guess as it was a dynamic page, it wasn't cached in the proxy or something, I wonder how many others have had this problem?

1) had a ball (literally - was great fun... now there's all these photos of me showing up that i cant remember :()
2) fitted my 80mm thermaltake smartfan to my taisol hs that i got from hans (its rather ghetto!!)
3) posted on gameplanet :eek: (they'll be wondering where that bastard who flamed all the CS n00bs who complained that they couldn't get 100fps went...:D)

I also manually deleted the disk cache and cleared the memory cache, but this didn't help, it was stuck in the proxy server at uni. I wonder how many others had an ISP proxy cause the problems for them when the forum came back...

ha thanks for clearing that up vark, i'm relatively new to chch and its taking me a while to get to know all the place names :).

i've been checking the forums every night for the past week or so, pressing ctrl+f5 each time. i wasn't able to get in until this morning and i find that everyone else has been in since sunday. :(
