new psu

for the last 3-4 months i have been having a nervous breakdown looking at the 300watt hyena sitting inside my computer and arguing with my mum that i really need a new one,so she has finally relented and is allowing me to get a new psu but only spend around $100, can you guys give me any ideas as to a good psu for this sort of price

currently i am looking at a thermaltake silent purepower W0009R 420w for $96

Yup I replaced my fried 550W god-knows-what with this, after removing the fan didn't do it much good (teehee, oops! not quite enough case airflow eh? never mind)

Great PSU. Hasn't missed a beat, and my volts are rock-solid. And damn it's heavy, that's a good sign.

$96 is a darn good deal ;)
