These guys here (http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/02_30/b3793054.htm) are suggesting we may have to wait a while longer than expected for the NV30. Apparently nVidia were a little late in getting the final specs to their manufacturer and they're having a few teething problems fabricating them:
"TSMC is having problems with the new process Nvidia is switching to for its high-power chip. Nvidia is working on the problems, but it won't guarantee full production volumes for the holiday shopping season."
May mean good news for ATI, and more even competition in the graphics market if nVidia lets ATI retain the lead for a month or two more than planned.
