Hi peeps.

The RLC are holding another lan in Rotorua on the 31st Aug - 1st Sept catering for 100 we have a website up at the moment www.rlc.co.nz and will have a registration page up soon. If interested drop us an email rotorualanclub@hotmail.com or visit our forum. We are getting radio time as well down here so hopefully get the full 100 easy, we have had a few 40-60 odd lans and have all the network gear for 100 with the help off a local computer shop. Also hoping too have a few tournaments running, last lan we had we had a small 4vs4 team deathmatch Mohaa tournament with the prizes off a packet off 20 imation discs for each off the winning team members. Hopefully this time the prizes might be a bit better, but hey anything is better then nothing :D. Hope too see a few off you guys there.

Well what a lan we had 67 at last head count was all good pics up at RLC Pics 31st Aug - 1st Sept (http://readyup.netfirms.com/LAN_gathering1.htm) was awesome. Most played game had too be battlefield 1942 had a dedicated server up hosting up 32 player game was full most off the time. It was thrashed same map same game type all weekend. Thanks have to goto calibre computers for lending us 1.5km off network cable and 4 cnet 24 port switches. We had enough for 100 and got 67 so was all good. Hopefully next one we might get full numbers. Thanks also goes too telstra clear for there radio link we were able too use over the weekend very nice.
