19" Rack Mount

Hey,
Do any of you know where I could get a reasonably priced 19" Rack (The actual rack not the cases) I have looked at procase but there prices were crazy to say the least :( ($3000NZD for 8U) Maybe those prices are justified?

19" racks are an equipment standard, so you can also try music equipment stores, as a lot of professional music gear is 19" stuff...

The alternative is to make your own, which really isnt too hard

check out Cable Ways (http://www.cable-ways.co.nz/) .. I haven't purchased off them before, but ask them for a catalog because their prices seem reasonable :cool:

Also have a look at their open rack option as it may fit your needs.
