Nvidia Vanta

Hi,

Does anyone know of a decent driver that would work with a nvidia vanta video card? I checked google and nvidia's website and they where both pretty much usless. I need a driver because I reformatted my mother's computer (It was having all sort's of issues) and now it's using the window's XP driver's.

Any help would be great.

Nvidia has a unified driver that is supposed to support all nvidia cards, except they dropped support for older cards like the vanta from the package awhile ago :rolleyes:

The driver package exe's are usually just zip compressed, you can open them with winzip and look at the readme. They state what cards are supported in there. I think the 45.xx series might still have support for the TNT2 and Vanta cards.

Also have you tried windows update? If you have no driver installe or the default windows driver, it will often find the last WHQL certified driver for your card as an update.

I tryed the most current nvidia driver and it seam's to run just fine... well as fine as that computer is going to run anyway.

Hmm I thought they'd dropped older card support out but looking the readme for the 53.xx drivers they still support all cards. I think they've just changed their www site UI which is confusing!
