which scanner program to use??

we've got a flatbed scanner but we don't have a program to use it, only drivers. its a mustek 600 cp and I've looked everywhere for a program that will let me use it but I can't find anything, are there scanner programs out there that will let you use any scanner?

Once you have installed the Mustek Twain drivers, other programs using for text or images should have the ability to "aquire" under File menu.

Like bung says... Any decent image viewer / editor will let you "acquire" from TWAIN sources (digital cameras, scanners, webcams).

www.irfanview.com is a good free image viewer
