Awesome, I'll be trying them for sure. I trust ATi 99%.

New Features

ATI OVERDRIVE(tm) Enhancement:
ATI OVERDRIVE(tm) maximizes the performance of the graphic accelerator by increasing the speed of the graphics processor. This is done by constantly monitoring the temperature of the graphics processor, so that the maximum clock speed can always be maintained.

The latest rendition of ATI OVERDRIVE(tm) now provides the user with more information on the temperature and frequency of their graphics processor. This feature is supported under the Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows 98/98SE and Millennium operating systems, and is supported on the following ATI RADEON(tm) products:
-ATI RADEON(tm) 9800 XT
-ATI RADEON(tm) 9600 XT

OpenGL Shading Language Enhancement
This release improves support for the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL), a flexible, forward-looking, and hardware-independent high-level graphics programming language. The OpenGL Shading Language, defined as an open standard by the OpenGL Architecture Review Board, allows application developers to take advantage of the powerful programmable vertex and pixel processing units present in the 3D graphics system. This release includes changes to increase compliance with the final ratified GLSL specifications, adds support for projective texture sampling, and improves support for interactions between GLSL-based rendering and traditional fixed-function vertex and pixel processing. Developers who are interested in using the OpenGL Shading Language should visit our website <http://www.ati.com/developer> for more details and documentation.

Battal seems to run fine with them, and that's all that really matters.

I note in the readme they still haven't fixed the Wolf ET bug aka crap performance, but it's expected in the next release, about time!

I had crap performance after doing an install (4.1). But then i did ANOTHER full uninstall and install and everything is sweet. No problems at all. Be interesting to see how it performs with this 'fix' though. Can't complain if it's better.

Been running them for a short while now. No problems here with them.

I'm running on them and everything seems to be fine.... although I'm not sure if radlinker is chaning my settings for BF1942? I had a few bf1942 issues but after a few restarts and a fiddle with the settings it all seems good.

Grrr!!

Installed them this morning. Seemed to get rid of a few minor issues and speed things up a tiny wee bit.

For some reason I am now getting a window showing the directory of "C:\Program Files\ATI\" everytime I start windows :(.

I've had that or a similar problem before, I don't think it's related to ATI drivers but rather having a folder open while/after doing and install that requires a reboot.

One problem though, I can't remember exactly what I did to fix the issue :( but I would start by going to control panel > folder options > view > reset all folders.
