Hi ADATA make a brand of ram called VDATA which use the VDATA VDD8608A8A-5B chip
VDATA 512MB PC3200 (DDR400)

The 512mb sticks retail for $110 + GST
My question is -any good for OC or has anyone tried this brand?

Thanks in advance

As with all generic ram the variences between sticks is large. Some will oc to hell and back, giving big brands a run for their money. Others wont budge without crashing on their a$$'.

My advice is if that's your price range buy some (as many sticks as you can afford) and test them, keeping the good sticks and fob off the poor performers. The other way of achieving the same result is to buy one or two test them, if they perform well keep 'em, if they don't, sell 'em and buy some more. Repeating process until you get some that you are happy with.
