Not necessarily. Depending on his supply he could quite possibly have one to you by Sat morning. It certainly can't hurt to email him. Otherwise try pet shops.

Last time I checked, Eheim were having problems keeping up with the new demand they were getting from the computer cooling market. It was an un-expected market for them, and so I have a feeling their production didn't match that. Also, Eheims have recently ( IIRC ) been incorporated into some pre-packaged water-cooling deals.

When I bought I had to wait 2 weeks. And when I went to pick it up, the whole shipment minus 2 units was already pre-ordered.

But good luck to you ( You're gonna need it :( ) They're LEGENDARY pumps for good reason ( and yes, I love mine - worth every penny and day of wait ).

Yea.. Eheims are quite few and far between at the moment, usually there are bigish wait times to get them in :(

But they are awesome pumps. My Eheim 1048 has been running non stop 24/7 for a whole year now and i've never had any problems, they are so quiet I can sleep and I don't even know the thing is on :)

Must you have an Eheim immediately? If you could settle for less until your Eheim arrives you can always look at picking up a RIO or something cheaply and they handle ok.
