I have two 256MB sticks of PC 133 SD-RAM in my motherboard right now. I was flicking through CPU-Z just before and got a Memory SPD readout.

It would appear that the 1st stick of RAM is running at 142Mhz (as is my processor) but the 2nd stick is only running at 133Mhz. Is this normal? I would have thought that when you overclock your FSB all the RAM sticks would be affected by the new speed, not just one.

My motherboard is a MSI K7T Turbo2.

Here is the info I got from CPU-Z:

Sounds unlikely that they are running different speeds... CPU-Z isn't flawless and I'd say this is probably a bug. Double check it with something else... Sisoft sandra, aida ...etc

Maybe try switching the slots the ram is in, or even try one stick at a time.

That mearly states that max FSB that it is able to contain the latancy.

I think you will fin that you have mixxed 2 different quality ram stick's which have different SPD's and different timings

Module #1 is running 143 stock
Module #2 is running 133 stock

cheers.
