http://event.asus.com.tw/slogan/intro.htm

that's right, make up the right slogan or phrase for ASUS and not only are you gonna be able to tell everyone that you came up with it, but you also get 3000US $, and for those of you who have no idea what 3000US $ are in NZ, well it's over 6000NZ $.

And since we are all so good at coming up with names for products and companies, I think that someone from here could win this.

Asus - gggrrrr....

TWICE Asus have enabled wall hacks in their drivers as a 'feature to distinguish Asus owners'. TWICE they have refused to remove those drivers, until HUGE MOFO petitions and a lot of 'I'm gonna buy Leadtek - fags' emails were sent.

I owned Asus once.

I never will again.

As for a slogan, I believe this would be appropriate:
"Asus - when you're a wall-hacker lamer boy with no sk1llz, ya just gotta get an edge from someone. Thanks Asus!"

:p
Lest we forget.
:D

And how would enabling wall hacks in their drivers help ASUS exactly? Help me to see the logic people it's late and I is tired.

Some Asus marketing:

There are three special weapons for ASUS VGA cards' users -- Transparent View, Wireframe View, and Extra Light. If you do not have an ASUS VGA card -- be careful! Never compete in the 3D games with anyone who has an ASUS VGA card. Because the only result is to loose.

Read all about the last cheat drivers release ( the second time ) here:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/50/18870.html

...or here for screenshots to show how it worked:
http://www.hardwarepub.com/articles/asus/

COMPLETE lamers. I reeeeaaaaally don't like Asus. Not to mention their over-priced components. And don't even get me started on unusable gimmicks ( Like their ridiculously uncomfortable 'VR-goggles'. I wear glasses, so I know what glasses SHOULD feel like. And sore ain't it. ).

....err, I'd better stop now :o...

Damn Asus are one sad hardware manufacturer.

But the people (if there are indeed any) buying Asus vid cards and then using these drivers are just as sad.

I only ever had one Asus product - an A7M266 - it was pretty pathetic, only 2 DIMM slots and it couldn't OC to save itself.
It only cost me $500!!!!! back in May 2001.

I've only had one Asus product.. mobo CUV4X-E. Did the job but I can't say I'd go with them again. Doing stuff like that is plain dum. It'd be like m$ including a virus writer wizard in XP for all those lazy script kiddies.

*that feature is included in service pack 12 for XP sixth edition* :D

apart from the that ^^^^^. Every asus product I've owned really has been excellent quality.

and btw consultants cost a whole lot more than US$3000 to come up with a slogan ;)

The ASUS Geforce 2 card I bought last year was suprisingly good, it is now sitting in my dads machine for TVout and those rarely played games.

It didnt devalue much tho, bought it for $400 and now the same card costs $319
