Recovery Solutions CD

Hi: ALL
can any one tell me how I can make a CD Recovery Disk For my systems. Like the ones that those big companys make, you know HP, Dell,ect. Thanks for your time. :D

i think that the most common method that people around here use is to create a ghost image of their os/apps partition. these images will let you format a dead os and reinstall all apps in one go. it won't give you the option to install everything over itself like the hp/compaq/whatever recovery cd's, but from my experience that option seems to cause more trouble than what its worth.

for less minor problems with your computer have you checked out the recovery option built into windows xp? that isn't all too bad, i've had to use it a couple of times :o

i use a ghost image and all goes sweet as
if i was you i would not stuff around with that CD thing (yes i did look at it some time ago :o)

Thanks to you both, I use XP and no problems with this system I have 2 sons with diferent OS's just looking out. CadMax do they have a topic here on the ghost Image if so will you give me a hint were at I look around but time is short if you know what I mean. Thanks agian to all and have a nice night. cya ;)
