The price is really high... I think R300 is worth more than Parhelia... (I think they will be selling at same price)

I have a feeling that the price of the new matrox cards will drop in the next 2-3 weeks when the cards arrive in the country.

There is already a reference card doing the rounds of NZ (currently in Wellington), I know coz I tried to get it today to demo at the OCNZ LAN in Auckland.. hehe... well it was worth a try ;) :D

The one listed on the Ascent website is the Retail version, however there will be a bulk/oem version of the card which is 20MHz slower and doesn't come with manuals. It is also cheaper, but not by much :(

I agree with you there, the only probs i've had from them is from their suppliers who sent me 2 x 60 GB drives in separate packages. It wouldn't have been a problem if i wasn't putting them into a RAID 0 config :p :)

I think their website rocks, it was their watercooling products listed that inspired me last year to search more on watercooling, which in turn directed me here, and I have stayed here ever since :D

Grrr!!

Ascent does have good specials though. And their range is excellent.
