Hi there - I just got an MX700 - its sexy. Using latest Logitech drivers.
I'm interested in how you have set up your MX series mice for use with windows forinstance. I'm new to this sort of thing and your experience is very useful.
One question I have - I use Avant Browser - have any of you managed to preserve 'middle click for open link in new window' functionality - Logitech disables this, and I want it back. Any ideas?
Cheers

I've got an MX700 and have used it with Mozilla and MyIE2.
I just set the middle button to "Middle Button" and it works sweet as.
Here's a tool for games etc....dunno if you have it or not but it's by logitech and adds some extra options.

Thanks for that Deimos - I honestly wouldn't hae got that middle buttong thing if you hadn't mentioned it! Its crazy how it sets up Universal Scroll - when Explorer uses the middle button for that as default!
And becuase your inbox is full I'll take this opportunity to say thanks the headsup about YZ dock et al :)

I've set the "forward" button to "middle button" and use that instead.
My only gripe is that they don't give you very many scrolling options... 1,2,6 or full screen...
I want 20 lines damnit!

Good idea - the middle button on mine has a pretty heavy response.
I might try running this with the MS software - I heard of a few positive stories when they were first released
Joined the masse population & moved towards Mx700 Today
after the demise of my second little Intellimouse in the weekend
Feels more responsive but the ‘click’ seams louder (maybe the newness)
Dam this thing is smooth, I now see why it’s so popular
- Of a gaming I do go a testing
