Greetings all, I'm using Lindows 4.0 atm. It's sweet as... much better than Redhat in my eyes, not as much apps as Redhat but never mind. Bit slow on the loading of stuff, but excellent otherwise. Just wish I had a memory stick now so I can save my data :)
It seems to love my Winmodem too! :D haha
I'd attatch a screenie but I dunno how ;)
Shame the res is stuck at 1024x768 :(

Does it come with the gimp?
Seagate is releasing harddrives with lindows preloaded so start bugging the retailers...
Lindows is ok except that you need to pay to get apps from their "click and run warehouse" but I think there may be some third party sites which offer the same service...

Well I got my one free from October's issue of APC magazine.. but it only runs from CD-ROM though (like knoppix)
I think it is more easier on hand than other linux OSs

Got myself a copy of Fedora, seems quite nice, much the same as Redhat 9. The menu system is alot more organised with actual meaningful names on them :D Haven't played with it much so don't know what else has changed, other than it does look a bit more "polished"
Also downloaded Mandrake 9.2 to try out, will see what happens there, cos apparently that is also a bit easier to work with.
Lindows apps are available either theough the click and run site or you can download the RPMs and run/install them yourself through other websites/ftp, or if your keen compile the source code and then run it.
