I'm after a good P4 waterblock, which uses the existing Intel mounting method (just for ease of use more than anything).
Something copper would be my first choice...

Well, your post says Best P4 Waterblock
Look no further than www.liquidcc.co.nz
They don't do retail intel type clamping afaik, but they make DAMN good blocks.
Highly recommended :)

thanks seen those.. look nice.
wondering if anybodies done a comparo with them..?
do they perform as well as some of the others such as: innovacool rev3, cooltech and the maze3.??
any one got any recommendations based on usage..

help appreciated.

They'll be running on a P4 1.6a at about 2.6Gig.

I have a p4 block going to Aus in the next few days, for use with the std intel clamping method.

innovacool rev3, cooltech and the maze3.??

They work very well, but no published Intel compos yet. Am confident they will be as good as if not better than the competition.....and the price *twinkle in eye* - peeeerfect :)

Well, Dan from Dans Data has done a large on running cooler comparision, here is the wblock part (http://www.dansdata.com/coolercomp_p6.htm#lccs)
Tojja has a waterblock in there, and it performs rather well ;)
Knowing him the designs can only get better
This comparision is for Socket A blocks mind you.
The performance of the 478 blocks would be higher one would think, large contact patch bla bla etc etc, etc ;)

Tojja

I sent you a mail yesterday asking if i could get a P4 waterblock without the barbs and with 1/4bsp tapped holes..? as I have some nice connectors.
Is this possible???
I'm keen to buy Kiwi made :)

mail received, bogged down with other stuff at the moment.

Yes, no problems (1/4 BSP used), but wondering why you want to do it this way? How are you planning to attach the barbs?

The barbs add about $5.00 to the final price :) Thus my question, and the fact that I wont be able to offer the block much cheaper :)

What I mean is, I want it as you supply them, but you just keep the barbs. As long as the thread you use is 1/4bsp then I can just screw my connectors in to the normal holes. They are the same as the innovatek ones (A barb with a screw down clamp).
Quite nice... and in my mind are safer ;)
Can I order straight from you (minus the barbs)....

No probs dude - will deal through this by email from now on. You will need to seal the threads obviously though....
