Well I rebooted and I had an error come up (same error as this one). StyleXP couldn't apply any skins nor read any. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall and I got this error (see attatched file). Anyone know of this error/know how to fix it?

Is the path in the error the correct path?

Have you tried moving the installs to a different dir?

Dont ask me why, it may work ;)

I have no idea where that path came from nor does it exist on my pc, I have tried installing from heaps of dirs. I uninstalled it wiped anything stylexp off my pc and re downloaded it. Same error.

Is the software freeware?

If not, did you download it under a trial period agreement?

If so, has that period ended?

Yeah it's a 30 day trial (pay for full version) But my trial ended months ago, I umm kinda used a crack on it a few weeks back, had no probs. I'm not sure what happened, oh yeah I had installed some patch for a skin I had installed. Some files were replaced and a WinXP window came up saying that the original cdrom was needed to reinstall some files that were replaced with incorrect ones or something. I'm sure they were reinstalled, mabye I should do a reinstall of XP. :(

Perhaps you should buy the software if you expect it to work......

This is such an obvious problem. But this ain't exactly a Crakz/War3z troubleshooting thread, so I suggest you just get the F**K over it and BUY the d@mn software if you like so much.....

Nah it's just because of a skin I installed, not the progs fault. I'll fix it sometime.
