What is the latest service pack for windows and where can i get it from?

Windows XP Service Pack 1a

Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp4/default.asp

if say for example, in windows 2000, you only have SP1, then you don't need to DL SP2 and SP3, the SP4 contains all the updates you need, so just grab the latest SP.

Nice one buddy but i havent really got time to go looking for updates as i am reinstalling my computer alot LOL good onet though i desrvid that

You can try slipstreaming the service pack into your windows disk, so you dont have to reinstall it every time you reinstall windows.
